Each Fall, we host the Head of the Buffalo Regatta on the Buffalo River. This is open to teams up for the exciting curves of our waterway through the historic grain silos, the Old First Ward and South Buffalo.

Race course: 4,000 Meters from the base of Smith Street to Riverfest Park along the Buffalo River. There are major turns in this course making it challenging for coxswains. Please review the map and watch the course video prior to racing. We have a strict Right Hand Rule Policy on this waterway.
Team Tents and boats can be set up in Father Conway Park directly across from BSRA.
Team trailers can be parked in the vacant lot next to BSRA (you will see our empty trailers there too).
Parking: Street Parking is available along Ohio Street, in the Father Conway Park, along Louisiana Street and in the grass area across from Tewksbury Lodge/ Riverfest Park. Additional parking can be found in neighboring streets.

Learn-to-Row and Modified Sculling have small regattas at the end of each session. Friends of BSRA and parents are encouraged to come watch and support these youth compete in their new sport!
