Buffalo River Rowing Club
Adult Learn to Row

JUST IN! BRRC is hosting a special small group Adult Learn to Row this year in May and June. Participants will become confident and skilled novice rowers by the end of each session. No age is too old, it’s not too late!

- Logistics -

  • What to wear:

    • Tighter fitting athletic clothing, sneakers, weather appropriate layers and sun protection

  • What to expect:

    • The first practice will be a land practice learning the rowing stroke on Concept2 rowergs, learning about the rowing equipment and how to prepare for going on the water. Following practices will be on the water, weather dependent, with BRRC Masters rowers assisting. 

  • Location:

    • The BSRA boathouse , 405 Ohio Street, Buffalo NY, 14204

  • Cost:

  • $150/session

Sunday, June 9th 9:30-11:30am

Tuesday, June 11th 6-8pm

Sunday, June 16th 9:30-11:30am

Tuesday, June 18th 6-8pm

Thursday, June 20th 6-8pm*

Sunday, June 23rd 9:30-11:30am

BSRA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We welcome youth and adults of all abilities from all over WNY to row and kayak on the Buffalo River from 405 Ohio Street. BSRA is an umbrella organization to several association organizations including:  Canisius High School, Buffalo Seminary, WeCanRow-Buffalo and BSRA Youth.
