This is a program specifically for novice rowers who have completed Adult Learn-to-Row.
We encourage you to continue learning how to row every Sunday from September 9th-October 28th, 2018 from 7:15-9:30am.

Once you have registered, please use this Doodle link to sign up for the practice you can attend. The coaches use this to make the line ups for every practice so please double check that if you sign up, you show up!

    Cost: $80

After rowing throughout the Fall, you will feel ready to join the BSRA Masters team for the full 2019 year. We start in January with indoor training on the erg machines working on postures, core stability, what muscles to use or not use and when, strength, technique and endurance. You will find these workouts are short with a good mixture of technical focus and high intensity to get your heart rate up and leaving nice and sweaty! Information about the 2019 will be sent out by October 2018.

Sculling is a type of rowing using two smaller oars, rather than one larger oar in Sweep rowing. In this program, participants will learn about water and boat safety, learn about the equipment and how to use it. Rowers will learn to row in a single training shell called, WaveCutter's as well as in Quads (4x) and Doubles (-2x). This program is a wonderful progression from Learn-to-Row and before joining the high school/Junior programs. Rowers will learn what it means to be on a team, commitment and hopefully gain a new lifelong passion!

Volunteer meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 16th at 6pm at the Boathouse to go over details and assign tasks.
